Could Sustainability Reporting be Dead? How CSRD is changing the face of sustainability reporting as we know it.

Time: 16:00 – 17:00 BST / 17:00 – 18:00 CET / 11:00 – 12:00 EST

Location: Microsoft Teams Webinar

SB+CO is delighted to host the first in a series of virtual events on the evolution of Sustainability Communications and Reporting. The series is designed to answer the question we’ve heard over and over from our clients:

‘How do companies develop robust reporting alongside creative sustainability communications in an age of regulation and increasing scrutiny on sustainability activity?

In April we published a report  that explored how practitioners from 30+ large companies were navigating their CSRD preparations, and in particular the double materiality process . This event shifts focus to the other end of the process: developing effective reporting and communication strategies for CSRD disclosures for the first time.

What you can expect from the session

Our team will offer provocations and insights from interviews with early reporters, and analysis on more than 35 ‘CSRD-aligned’ reports published to date – this will include:

  • emerging practice;

  • pitfalls and challenges;

  • late memos that early reporters have missed; and

  • learnings early reporters will take into the next reporting round.

The main objective is to bring together early reporters through to practitioners who are approaching the task of reporting on CSRD for the first to share perspectives, practice, ideas and challenges – and to learn from each other.
